Some Android skins (MIUI, ColorOS) restrict background downloads by default. If the progress bar stalls, allow background activity and unrestricted data for Youdao Translate in system settings.

Packs are often 50–200MB. Mall/airport Wi‑Fi drops mid-file. Home broadband or solid cellular is safer.
Storage
Temp space plus install space — leave 500MB+ free. Vague failures with no reason text often mean a full disk.
Version
Old clients may reject new pack formats. Match the build on the download page before pulling packs.
Permissions
Android: storage/network allowed. iOS: leave Low Data Mode off for large downloads.
Progress stuck or pack won’t work
